There is a fantastic looking taupo homestay that is advertising an exclusive luxurious weekend retreat package for the coming winter months. This stay includes buffet breakfast’s, high tea, one afternoon of spa treatments for two, including therapeutic back massages and facials, use of the property’s bikes and Kayaks and two nights in a spa suite with mountain and lake views. I did my sums and I think that the deal is fantastic so I’m going to see if my partner feels like doing this as a weekend retreat. I know that he would probably love to do some fishing so maybe we can tie it in somehow. Both of us work so hard that sometimes it’s nice to just treat yourself to a bit of time out.
