Role-Playing Cards
I remember when cards used to be a whole lot simpler in their use. Baseball, football, basketball, and hockey cards were always popular in my day. Some kids would also collect cards from movies or television shows. Of course, there was always a lot of fun with a standard deck of playing cards. Now, cards have taken on additional meanings–they can be used in fantasy role-playing games against one another. This is a new twist from when I was a kid–the closest we came to this was the game of “War.” Now, that game has a whole new meaning, such as with Magic The Gathering cards.
