The Real Hallelujah Mountains?

Where are the real Hallelujah Mountains? Recently, officials in China renamed the spectacular Southern Sky Column mountain range in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province after the mountains featured in James Cameron’s Avatar movie, claiming that the director used photos of the mountains as the basis for the fictional landscape of Pandora. Now another set of tourism officials at Huangshan, Anhui province, (also known as the Yellow Mountain) are stating that their mountain was the actual inspiration for the film. James Cameron settled the dispute by saying that he used a combination of many different sources for the Pandora landscape, including both Chinese areas and even Venezuela. Perhaps we will see several Hallelujah Mountains all around the world! file renamer
