Common Types Of Binding Machines

A lot of businesses and even individuals use a binding machine. There are a number of different binding styles, and each style comes in a variety of sizes for different binding volumes.

Comb Binding – plastic comb binding is the type of binding where the machine punches holes into the edge of the paper. You open the comb, insert your paper, and close it over a row of plastic rings that are evenly spread out.

Coil Binding – this type of binding punch and bind documents using one continuous spiral coil.

Wire Binding – this uses metal wires that are bent together by the machine after the paper is punched and placed into the wire ring.
