Royal Doulton character jugs have been a popular choice for collectors for many years. Most recently, Royal Doulton has been producing these jugs in limited editions, and as the number of serious collectors is on the rise. The character jugs are traditionally designed and made from earthenware although some pieces were made with English Porcelain between 1968 and 1971.
